Do we allow hunting?
Yes, hunting is allowed on some Bangor Land Trust properties, we ask that you register in advance. Please check out our Hunting page for more details.
When can I visit a BLT preserve?
Normal hours are dawn to dusk. Use of artificial lights (such as flashlights, etc.) are prohibited.
Are Motorized Vechicles or Ebikes allowed on BLT properties?
We do NOT allow use of motorized vehicles or e-bikes on any of our properties. However, in some cases a permit can be obtained prior through the BLT office for property maintenance usage only.
Are dogs allowed?
Bangor Land Trust allows dogs on some preserve trails, and during certain seasons. We recognize the enjoyment that both dogs and dog owners find in walking in the woods.
Where dogs are allowed, they must be on leash. We also ask you clean up after your dog.

No Dogs are allowed in the following preserves:
- Central Penjajawoc Preserve
- West Penjajawoc Grasslands, April 1 to July 31 (during Bobolink nesting season)

Can I get fresh air and exercise Here?
Of course! The health benefits of outdoor activities are well documented and one conclusion that keeps popping up over and over again is that exercise is one of the best things you can do for your whole body, including your brain! Bangor Land Trust preserves invite you to come outdoors for some healthy exercise.
