Bangor Land Trust invites you to join us for a presentation on Winter Fungi on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, 7:00-9:00 PM.

Maine Master Naturalist, Nola Prevost, will explain the general lifecycle of a mushroom-bearing fungus, the roles they play in the ecosystem, and the common types of fungi that persist in the winter months, as well as key identifying characteristics and terminology. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to identify mushrooms in the winter, and ask questions about the fantastic world of fungi.
