Wild Madder
Galium mollugo
West Penjajawoc Grasslands
Bangor, Maine
With numerous small white flowers in clusters, this plant of fields fills the spaces between grasses and other flowers. The leaves are  1/2 to 1 1/2 inches long, narrow, and on the main stem grow in whorls of seven or eight.
