REGISTRATION

Cap off the biking season with one of these great rides. The roads are great, the terrain is level and the views of the Penobscot River are magnificent. There will be T-shirts, rest stops along the way, and sag wagons.

The Routes
The 2010 Pedal the Penobscot Road Ride consists of a 28 mile loop and a 76 mile loop, each of which travel along both sides of the mighty Penobscot River beginning and ending at Bangor's waterfront. There is also a 14 mile ride which consists of the return half of the 28 mile loop.

Who Can Do It
Pedal the Penobscot is a ride, not a race. Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome. Teams are encouraged and are a great way to involve co-workers, family and friends. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

What You Get
A T-Shirt and a celebration at the Bangor waterfront are just the start. Riders will also receive a one-year membership in the Bangor Land Trust which includes a subscription to our newsletter and special events throughout the year.

The Cause
Funds raised for the Bangor Land Trust support the creation of new preserves, stewardship of our current preserves, trail development and maintenance, and environmental education outings and speakers.

Support During the Ride
Water stops, sweeper bikes, breakdown vans, and medical teams will be available along the routes. Can't ride? Volunteer on ride day.

Ride Safety
A bike safety briefing will be held just before each Ride. Riders must wear helmets and respect traffic laws.

Special Thanks

Special thanks to the following organizations for their support. This event would not have been possible without them!
